A form of pedagogical rehearsal. By role-playing as a student with misconceptions, the AI helps you anticipate and prepare for common errors before they appear in class.
Prompt template
I am going to give you a [topic/concept] that my students are studying. I want you to act as a student who has common misconceptions about this topic. I will ask you questions and you will answer as a student who holds these misconceptions. Then tell me what the misconceptions are and what the correct understanding is, and suggest how I might address them in class.
