Bloom AI + Google Classroom

Bloom works with Google Classroom through Google SSO, so students sign in with their existing Google Workspace for Education accounts. There are no separate credentials to manage. Our team configures the integration for your Google Workspace domain and helps your administrators approve Bloom as a trusted third-party application.

How it works

1

Contact the Bloom team

Let us know your Google Workspace for Education domain and which classes will use Bloom. We will guide you through the approval process.

2

Approve Bloom in Google Workspace Admin

A Google Workspace administrator adds Bloom to the list of approved third-party apps in the Admin Console. This enables Google SSO so students can log in with their school accounts.

3

Share Bloom links with students

Teachers share Bloom links with students through Classroom assignments or the course stream. Students click to launch Bloom, authenticated automatically via their Google account.

Key capabilities

Google SSO authentication

Students and teachers sign in with their Google Workspace for Education accounts. No separate Bloom passwords are created, and access is governed by the institution's existing Google directory.

No separate student accounts

Because authentication flows through Google SSO, students do not need to create or remember separate Bloom credentials. Their identity is verified by the school's Google Workspace.

Managed setup

Our team guides your Google Workspace administrator through the app approval process and configures the SSO connection for your domain.
